The Manager/Senior Manager of Identity & Access Management (IAM) oversees the daily operations of the IAM program, including standard operating procedures, quality assurance, staffing, and customer service. This role provides leadership for all IAM team members and collaborates closely with the Information Security Director on program leadership and governance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Oversight: Manage enterprise-wide security services, including account provisioning and de-provisioning, access management requests, fulfillment, and governance for enterprise applications, privileged account management, and single sign-on.
  • Team Leadership: Lead the IAM team, providing direction on priority setting, resource allocation, continuous process improvement, technical guidance, and project planning.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with clinical and research leaders, effectively communicating security concepts in business-relevant terms.
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement identity and access management policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Training and Development: Develop and maintain training materials related to identity and access management, and ensure the team stays current with industry developments and trends.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department and institution.
  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance.

Senior IAM Manager Minimum Education and/or Training:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, data science, information science, or related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.

Senior IAM Manager Minimum Experience:

  • Minimum Experience: 8+ years of IT experience with experience managing small/mid-size teams.
  • Experience leading complex projects/delivery in terms of resources, vendors, and budgets.
  • Experience managing teams in a supervisory/ leadership capacity.
  • Proven performance in earlier role/comparable role.

IAM Manager Minimum Education and/or Training:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, data science, information science or related field required.
  • Master's degree preferred.

IAM Manager Minimum Experience:

  • Minimum requirement: Five (5) progressive years of IT experience including experience managing at least 1-2 people preferred.
  • Extensive experience leading projects/processes end to end including resource and vendor management, and communication and collaboration with internal cross-functional teams and external partners preferred.
  • Proven performance in earlier role/comparable role.

Compensation

In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $125,840 - $238,160 per year for the role of Manager/Senior Manager of Identity & Access Management (IAM).
