Description

Markon's partner company is seeking a highly technical Cyber Security InfoSec Engineer, ideally with experience performing cross domain engineering efforts.  This is supporting a highly impactful and mission-critical client, directly responsible for the systems and cyber readiness of our intelligence community and will help set the platinum standard of IT architectural development and capability.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with customers and complete common engagement tasks to include providing cross-domain/cyber security expertise in the analysis, assessment, development and evaluation of security solutions and architectures to secure applications, operating systems, databases, and networks.
  • Provide technical project management support to the customer team/cell lead in the day-to-day management of the team/cell. Assisting in creating processes and procedures for management of the team/cell. Assist in managing JIRA requirements and interacting with Sr. Project Manager.
  • Work on consulting engagement workstreams to address risks using best practice cross-domain and cybersecurity solutions.
  • Communicate with team leads and senior leadership, assess changes, and rapidly change direction in support of new and/or changing program requirements.
  • Identify solution constraints and evaluation criteria.
  • Create technical point papers for Cross Domain Solutions related topics.
  • Collects requirements from stakeholders.
  • Schedule/attend Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) to discuss/whiteboard design and implementation details.
  • Compile and provide additional information to support customer strategy planning.
  • Actively participate on integrated teams.
  • Provide guidance and technical solutions to Cross Domain engineers.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field and/or 4+ years of applicable engineering experience.
  • TS/SCI with Lifestyle Polygraph (This position does not sponsor a lower level clearance at this time)
  • 15+ years of experience in fields engineering, architecting, and/or managing highly technical cybersecurity, information technology, and/or cross-domain IT solutions.
  • Experience in technical project management/support and tactical/strategic planning.
  • Experience developing systems, products, and/or processes based on a total systems perspective.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Direct experience supprting the Intelligence Community IT engineering environments.
  • Experience with cloud-based, enterprise technology, especially as it relates to secure systems engineering.

Salary Range

USD $170,000.00 - USD $220,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
