Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate, collaborative, and experienced project manager to join our dynamic team in compliance. This role will report to the Chief Compliance Officer and will support Comcast Spectacor's privacy programs by providing excellent analysis, support for the CCO, and process improvement recommendations. Strong familiarity with project management required, and familiarity with Privacy Impact Assessments, U.S. and international privacy laws is preferred. IAPP certification preferred.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Completes Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) in One Trust of new or changes to existing  Spectacor products, services and initiatives.
  • Assist IT Compliance team in completing data security requirements.
  • Oversees and coordinates the Individual Rights Request (IRR) processes and works across business lines to ensure all IRRs are properly verified and receive a timely and complete response. Modify and automate process as deemed necessary.
  • Partners with Spectacor Compliance, Legal, and Business Units to operationalize and comply with data privacy policies and standards.
  • Partners with the business to map out data flows, maintains records of data processing activities, keeps record of processing activities current and recommends process improvements.
  • Assists with the creation, maintenance and implementation of privacy policies, cookie notice, standards and procedures including governance documentation and the annual privacy ratings scorecard. 
  • Fosters a culture of privacy-awareness through implementing, maintaining and enhancing the data privacy training programs.
  • Proactively drives development of privacy infrastructure, technical controls, and automation to make it easy for teams to achieve privacy excellence
  • Supports large-scale projects, including remediation plans and time-sensitive initiatives involving business teams.
  • Assists with coordination of agendas, projects, and hands on support with relevant technology.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Stays up-to-date with privacy regulatory trends and industry standards to contribute to the privacy program’s continued success.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills and Experience:

  • Awareness of legal, regulatory and technical issues related to privacy, data management and information security.
  • Experience with privacy laws in North America, risk assessment or compliance processes.
  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues across varying business lines, management, and operations personnel.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with consistently high-quality results.
  • Self-motivated and independent, but able to discern when matters should be escalated and when further guidance is needed.
  • Ability to translate requirements into practical guidance and formulate creative solutions to accomplish the company’s objectives.
  • Experience coordinating work for a team, providing support for projects, and with technology such as SharePoint.
  • Sound judgment, strong work ethic, excellent problem solving and organization skills, practicality, a focus on business outcomes and flexibility to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
