Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Cyber Security Operations assume a critical leadership role, steering a multidisciplinary team tasked with fortifying our payment and data services infrastructure.

What is this role about?

As the Senior Manager, Cyber Security Operations, You will drive the development and execution of sophisticated security operations strategies that align with the Cuscal's risk tolerance, regulatory mandates, and overarching business goals. Your role is central to ensuring the operational resilience of our services amidst an evolving threat landscape.

Here’s some more insight into what you’ll work on,

• Develop and implement a comprehensive cyber security operations strategy & roadmap aligned with Cuscal’s risk appetite, regulatory requirements, and business goals. 

• Enhance operational performance through continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing processes, and ensuring timely risk mitigation. 

• Cultivate and sustain strategic relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. As a trusted advisor, effectively communicate complex security concepts into actionable insights, ensuring stakeholders are informed and confident in the security measures in place. 
• Oversee all aspects of cyber operations, from threat intelligence to incident response, ensuring proactive risk management and robust defences. 
• Develop, execute and maintain a threat intelligence-driven approach to prioritize and address the most significant risks ensuring targeted and effective defences. 
• Guarantee the transparent and timely communication of security operation status, incidents, and potential risks to key stakeholders, including executive leadership and external partners. 

Qualifications

What can you bring?

• You have a broad knowledge of Security technologies and products (e.g., You have a broad knowledge of Security technologies and products (e.g., SIEM systems, security analytics, end-point protection solutions, firewall technology, IPS, WAF, FIM etc.). 
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in leadership role focus on security operations, threat detection, and response. 
• Be able to navigate the challenges of a varied role in a dynamic organisation. 
• Ability to identify tasks and activities required to meet project requirements and to set goals and priorities in line with business objective. 
• Ability to contribute to short, medium- and long-term planning and effectively promote ideas. 
• Significant people management experience. 
• Extensive experience in SIEM, Security Analytics, AV, Log Management. 
• Strong knowledge of security standards and frameworks including ISO27001, PCI DSS and NIST.
