Job Summary

The Jr Associate Security, Risk and Governance requires the knowledge to participate in design, build, test and deploy effective application security solutions. This level role provides the opportunity for exposure to fundamental of Application security and ERP principles and concepts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitoring cybersecurity alerts through SIEM and other tools
• With assistance respond to security incidents, intervene as necessary to protect company assets
• Gains a basic understanding of ERP (SAP) and application security concepts.
• Responsible to support clients at non-traditional hours on occasion to support emergency situations.
• Investigate research, gather electronic evidence, and resolve issues on our platform.
• Works on regular production support activities.
• Effectively recognize threats by performing relevant research and data analysis.
• Under supervision, learns and implements application security.
• Provides end to end user support.
• Answers technical issues related to application security to resolve and follow up.
• Other duties as assigned

Additional Responsibilities

Education

• Bachelor's Degree Computer Science required

Work Experience

• No min required 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• An understanding of the software development life cycle as well as the business approach for the product.
• Basic understanding on ERP and Application security concept.
• Basic awareness of software development life cycle and software development methodologies like Agile, Azure DevOps etc.
• Decision making ability.
• Attention to details.
• Ability to work in a team as well as an individual.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain deadlines.

License and Certifications

Travel Requirements

5%: Up to 13 business days per year

Physical Requirements

Sedentary-Exerting up to 10lbs/4kgs of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to life, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
