About the Role
Are you passionate about cybersecurity and eager to make a significant impact in a new and dynamic environment? Join Partner Solutions (PSI) team as a Senior Security Advisor - Cybersecurity Data Analytics and Automation, you will be responsible to develop data-driven reporting practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement within the cybersecurity team.
Responsibilities include designing interactive dashboards, generating insights to enhance decision-making, and automating repetitive processes to improve efficiency. Your responsibilities will also support the Identity and Access Governance (IAG) program by creating automation tools and reports. You will collaborate across teams to identify opportunities for improvement, implement innovative solutions, and drive a proactive approach to cybersecurity operations.
What You’ll Do
Evaluate and optimize existing cybersecurity data collection and reporting processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address data reporting needs.
Design and implement dashboards and visualizations that highlight key performance indicators (KPIs), risk metrics, and operational trends.
Develop automation workflows and reports to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of Identity and Access Governance processes.
Monitor and report on access controls, identity lifecycle management, and compliance metrics.
Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and manual processes within cybersecurity workflows.
Ensure automated solutions align with industry best practices as well as with corporate security policies and standards.
Foster a culture of continuous feedback by delivering actionable insights to team members and stakeholders.
Partner with stakeholders to refine processes based on data-driven recommendations.
Stay informed about emerging technologies and methodologies in data analytics and cybersecurity automation.
What You Need
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or other relevant credentials in cybersecurity.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Information Technology and/or Security.
Certifications in security such as ISC2 CC, CCSP, or in technologies such as MS-900, PL-300, DP-500.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI), scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell), business workflows & automation (e.g., Microsoft Logic Apps) and DevOps Lifecycle Tools (Git and Pipeline).
Proficiency with APIs and system integrations for data extraction and automation.
Ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
Working knowledge with cybersecurity tools, systems, and principles (e.g., SIEM, IAM solutions).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to define and document standards, conventions, processes and procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences, developing, diverse stakeholders.
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
