Key Responsibilities:

• Azure Security Administration for IaaS/PaaS/SaaS Environments: Manage and secure Azure-based environments tailored to IaaS/PaaS/SaaS platform, ensuring continuous uptime and data protection for end users.

• Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Management: Design, implement, and maintain PKI systems critical to secure communication and authentication within the IaaS/PaaS/SaaS architecture.

• Data Protection and Encryption: Develop, implement, and maintain encryption standards, ensuring IaaS/PaaS/SaaS customer data confidentiality and integrity through advanced encryption, encoding, and deciphering techniques.

• PowerShell Automation for IaaS: Create and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate security processes, streamline IaaS and security related platform operations, and support scalability.

• Identity and Access Management (IAM): Oversee Azure Entra ID / Privileged Identity Management and implement role-based access control (RBAC), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and just-in-time (JIT) access to secure IaaS/PaaS/SaaS resources.

• Threat and Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular risk assessments, penetration tests, and vulnerability scans to safeguard the IaaS/PaaS/SaaS platform and user data.

• Incident Response and Remediation: Lead rapid response to security incidents, leveraging tools like Azure Sentinel and Azure Security Center to minimize SaaS platform disruption.

• Compliance and Governance: Ensure the IaaS/PaaS/SaaS platform aligns with industry regulations, such as SOC 2, PCI DSS 4.0, and maintain audit-ready documentation.

• Monitoring and Reporting: Utilize Azure tools such as Monitor and Log Analytics to detect anomalies, ensure system integrity, and deliver detailed security reports for IaaS/PaaS/SaaS stakeholders.

• Collaboration and Training: Partner with engineering, product, and customer success teams to integrate security into the IaaS/PaaS/SaaS development lifecycle and train employees on best practices.

Requirements

• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Azure security services, including Azure Key Vault, MS Defender for Cloud, and Azure Sentinel, Azure Front Door, and Azure Firewall as they apply to IaaS/PaaS/SaaS applications.

• Scripting and Automation: Advanced proficiency in PowerShell and other scripting tools to support the unique needs of IaaS/PaaS/SaaS environments.

• Encryption Proficiency: Expertise in encryption methodologies such as PKI, OpenSSL, hashing, and secure data exchange critical to IaaS/SaaS applications.

• SaaS-Specific Experience: Previous experience securing and managing multi-tenant SaaS platforms.

• Certifications (Preferred): CISSP, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, or equivalent certifications, with a focus on Cloud security.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex security challenges within a IaaS/PaaS/SaaS framework and implement innovative solutions to enhance platform reliability.
