Responsibilities:
Core IAM Delivery:
- Support the Identity and Access Manager with the strategic vision for Identity and Access Management.
- Responsible for the delivery of the IAM platform and continual improvements.
- Ensure IAM function meets internal audit and regulatory requirements.
- Be a part of the day-to-day activities required in the delivery of the IAM function.
- Be a part of extended and out of hours service in the delivery of IAM function.
- Maintenance and improvement of IAM processes with alignment to client’s policies.
- Drive the continuous improvement of the IAM function within the organisation to deliver a high-quality user experience.
- Ensure IAM incidents are managed effectively.
- Represent IAM function at the client’s Identity & Access SteerCo.
- Adequately train, equip, and motivate junior team members to deliver the IAM function.
- Build awareness of the client’s IAM function through presentations, internal social media platforms, Intranet articles, and informal discussions.
- Co-ordinate with other teams and departments across the organisation for the effective management of IAM.
Stakeholder Management:
- Oversee the successful development of the IAM team, including the provision of suitable training and learning opportunities.
- Promote and communicate the IAM function and purpose across the organisation.
- Build and maintain strong professional working relationships across the organisation.
- First escalation for IAM issues.
Situational Awareness:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the current landscape and emerging trends in identity and access management.
- Maintain awareness of IAM best practices, standards and frameworks, and applicable national laws and regulations.
Essential Skills and Attributes:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience of deploying, supporting, and integrating SailPoint Identity IQ within a regulated business Designing an Identity & Access Management control environment.
- Strong lifecycle process experience in joiner, mover, leaver, role management, conflicts of interest policies, external third-party access management.
- Good understanding of security policy, processes, and procedures.
- Good understanding of IT technology platforms.
- Good understanding of risk management concepts, vocabulary, and techniques.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Contribute to engineering capabilities which include but not limited to custom integrations and developments.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience of applying IAM processes in a technologically diverse environment, including Windows, Linux, in-house and industry-standard applications.
- Experience of automating IAM processes.
- Experience of managing IAM controls on public cloud environments.
- Experience working in or with IT security functions.
- Knowledge of or interest in financial markets, trading, and related products.
