SOC Manager - Afternoons (approx. 2pm-10pm est)

Location: Tampa, FL (onsite)

Deepwatch is looking for a highly motivated, self-driven, hands-on technical leader dedicated to making a difference in global security by protecting organizations against the most advanced attackers in the world. The Deepwatch Security Operations Center offers opportunities to expand your skill set through a wide variety of experiences, detecting and responding to incidents as they occur in real-time for our customers.

The Deepwatch SOC is a unique approach to how we support our customers and ultimately provide an experience not found anywhere else. You’ll be an integral part of supporting our customers by understanding their bespoke environment, needs and challenges. You will be playing a key role in supporting some of the top organizations in the world, and have the opportunity to develop your skills by working with the best experts in the industry. 

 

In this role you’ll get to:

  • Lead a team of remote-based security professionals, enabling high efficiency and quality in the work we do for our customers
  • Ensure we deliver on agreed upon SLA’s with customers, specifically focusing on the quality of work output through qualitative and quantitative measurements
  • Hold your staff accountable by providing clear direction, role requirements, responsibilities and clarity around how you’re measuring their success and performance
  • Lead and manage projects to deliver outcomes impacting security operations and customer retention with a focus on improving SOPs, customer service delivery, and SOC quality of life
  • Deliver escalation support to customers and employees with a focus on understanding the profile of each customer, their environment, unique challenges and opportunities for us to exceed their expectations and proactively solve problems
  • Work closely with leadership, customer service teams, and product owners to learn and understand all new offerings and services
  • Understand and disseminate information to your team through training and regular touchpoints
  • Work with a world-class business intelligence team that can help you identify and surface actionable insights through big-data analysis
  • Utilize business intelligence to leverage actionable data to determine the appropriate levers to pull so we can deliver high quality service to our customers and the best possible experience for our employees

 

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to:

  • Demonstrate prior SOC experience as a technical escalation point or Team Lead, with the ability to support the team with escalations on an as-needed basis
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, continuously measuring accuracy and quality of analysis performed
  • Have a track record of working outside your team and across business units solve problems when the situation requires it
  • Measure and tell a compelling story with data, not just throughput and performance
  • Demonstrate experience working customer SLAs and contract requirements ensuring your team is delivering with quality and efficiency at all times
  • Identify problems inside and outside of your team and demonstrate the Deepwatch “One Team” core value by being a strong voice in identifying and ensuring problems are resolved
  • Hire, train and mentor your team using qualitative measurement tools and techniques in partnership with the People team
  • Act as a coach, performance manage and develop career pathing for your team in partnership with the People Team



ITAR Compliance

The anticipated salary range for this role is $128,000 to $160,000 + stock options + benefits. Actual compensation may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
