Summary:
The Information Security Business Manager oversees the Aviation Information Security (InfoSec) department's financial, business, and team management aspects. This includes budget development and management, tracking and reporting, business performance analysis, program management, and supporting strategic planning. This role will support InfoSec leadership in building a strong culture
through sound human resource practices. The ideal candidate should have strong financial and human resource acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with both technical and non- technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage budgets, including invoicing/payments, tracking, reporting, and working closely with AirAsia’s Finance departments. Other stakeholders would be Capital A/AirAsia’s
Procurement department, requiring the preparation and execution of InfoSec’s procurement projects
Support and coordinate the People-(HR)-related activities such as: headcount planning, organizational charts, preparation of job descriptions, recruitment tracking, employee training, performance management, morale events, and onboarding; working closely with Capital A/AirAsia’s People departments.
Coordinate Information Security rhythm of business, establish meetings, reviews, and reporting cadence and hygiene.
Support the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management, and stakeholders, with a focus on strong PowerPoint/Google Slides-communications and writing skills.
Support calendar management and duty travel arrangements for the CISO and InfoSec leadership as needed.
Support the InfoSec leadership in the development of cross-organization project plans and tracking.
Manage communications within the InfoSec department, including organizing distribution lists and mailboxes, shared folders, Workplace, Confluence, and other internal and stakeholder communications.
Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output.
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in budget planning, financial management, and business
development. A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field would be advantageous.
Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience in Information Security or a related field would be advantageous.
Experience using human resources tools, especially Workday, would be advantageous.
Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills, with expertise in
PowerPoint/Google Slides.
Proficiency in using tools and software for financial tracking and reporting.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with experience in project management and continuous improvement. Experience using ticketing systems such as Jira would be advantageous.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
