Your role @ Chanel

The role holder will be required to work primarily within the Global Information Security Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) team to support the information security awareness initiatives, 3rd party security scorecard monitoring, controls assurance and risk management workstreams in addition to collaborating across the other GISEC (Global Information Security) pillars such as Cyber Response, Cyber Advisory, Cyber Transformation & Cyber Resilience. The role also provides an opportunity to gain valuable cybersecurity experience across the wider domains in other GISEC Pillars.

Role will be as an Intern for a period of 12 months.

The impact you can create at Chanel

  • Support the ongoing monitoring and tracking of CHANEL’s 3rd party supplier security scorecard, reporting, data analytics and remediation activities.
  • Support the roll-out, implementation and ongoing maintenance of the risk management / GRC application as directed by the Manager.
  • Support the controls assurance / controls testing workstream in line with the agreed processes defined by the GISEC GRC operating process.
  • Co-ordinate the documentation of all GISEC owned common processes in the agreed format and maintain the repository of process documentation.
  • Support the planning and execution of InfoSec Awareness initiatives across CHANEL
  • Collaborate with other pillars to garner experience and knowledge in various GISEC workstreams as follows:

o    Cyber Advisory – support the team to provide security related advisory services throughout the IT project lifecycle to ensure Security-by-Design principles are implemented in all projects

o    Cyber Transformation – support in managing the completion / deployment of significant strategic cybersecurity / technology  initiatives.

o    Cyber Response – support in lifecycle handling of cyber security incidents

o    Cyber Resilience – support in safeguarding assets by proactively monitoring and continually enhancing the security of our attack surface against cyber threats.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a post graduate degree in Information Security or a related discipline.
  • University degree.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed with ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent English and oral communication skills. Regional languages also desirable but not mandatory (e.g. French).
