SENIOR INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYSTGRADE 20HJob Summary
The Senior Information Security Analyst provides technical expertise and implementation support for various Information Security systems including DLP (Data Loss Prevention) and Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM). This analyst will promote and drive adoption of DLP and Cloud security best practices and tooling across the enterprise. The analyst monitors industry standards to recommend improvements and responds to security events by conducting thorough analysis as directed by management. Collaborates with vendors to resolve issues and identify root cause, develop process changes, and help create strategies to meet business requirements. The Senior Information Security Analyst is responsible for overseeing and managing information security projects within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily operations of DLP solutions. Develop new DLP rules and maintain existing rules as defined by stakeholders. Provide DLP reporting to management.
- Support the development and execution of enterprise-wide Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) program. Manage security controls for a multi-cloud architecture.
- Investigate DLP and Cloud Security events. Utilize established processes and tools to focus on incident response, threat identification, analysis, and facilitate swift remediation.
- Manage information security initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget. Coordinate with various teams to streamline efforts and achieve project goals.
- Participate in the implementation and integration of risk management procedures and support technical risk management processes to protect UPS’s information assets.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) processes and tools, such as Microsoft Purview.
- Knowledge of Cloud Platform Security and Cloud Infrastructure Security Engineering/Analysis (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) including Azure and GCP.
- Familiarity with Data Analysis and Technical Analysis.
- Proven experience with Project Management and Information Security Controls.
- Familiarity with strategic, big-picture thinking and strong investigative/detective skills.
- Ability to work effectively as a team player.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to quickly assimilate new information and remain current on new developments in cybersecurity capabilities and industry knowledge.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or the equivalent in education and work experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,040/year to $164,940/year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
