Specialist, Offensive Hardware Security - Red Team

Position Summary:

We are looking for an Offensive Hardware Security Specialist to research, analyze, and exploit vulnerabilities in hardware systems. Your will play a critical role in defending against hardware-based attacks and strengthening the security of our cutting-edge products

Position Responsibilities:

• Research and identify trends in hardware-based attacks, including side-channel attacks
• Perform hardware-based attacks to assess vulnerabilities in mobile products
• Analyze and exploit software vulnerabilities through hardware-based techniques
• Develop proof-of-concept exploits targeting hardware weaknesses
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend hardware security enhancements
• Establish secure firmware development methodologies and tools

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• 5+ years of experience in hardware security research and testing
• Proficiency in tools and techniques for fault injection, side-channel analysis, and hardware debugging
• Familiarity with Red Team rules of engagement & best practices
• Strong communications, documentation and reporting skills

 Special Attributes:

• Certifications: Certified Hardware Security Professional (CHSP) or similar
• Experience in analyzing and mitigating side-channel and fault injection attacks
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on hardware/software integration
• Familiarity with open hardware standards such as RISC-V
• Proficiency in hardware description languages such as Verilog or VHDL

The base pay range for roles at this level is listed below, but may be higher or lower in other states due to geographic differentials in the labor market. Within the base pay range, individual rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education and training. This is part of our comprehensive compensation package with annual bonus eligibility and generous benefits to help you live life well.Base Pay Range$151,200—$207,750 USD
