Accenture Federal Services is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Senior Cyber Security Engineer who is enthusiastic about expanding their expertise in Azure Cloud security. This role is crucial for developing and implementing security measures to protect our information systems and data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems security, compliance standards and a willingness to learn and adapt to cloud-based technologies. Some travel may be required but is expected to be infrequent.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Manage and implement robust and secure cloud architectures using Azure services, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and security standards.
- Implement security controls and best practices to protect cloud-based systems and data, including encryption, access controls, and network security.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure for performance, security, and compliance, and perform regular maintenance and updates.
- Supporting Azure Monitor and Log Analytics for proactive monitoring and logging of Azure Resources and Services along with alerting, reporting and dashboarding
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud solutions and services in our Azure environments
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks but also work well in a cross-team environment
- Involved in workstreams where you are an active contributor and can talk to the progress and results of assigned tasks
- Work both engineering stories from an agile board and operational tasks from a ticketing queue.
Required Skills:
- 2+ years of experience managing Nessus for vulnerability and compliance management.
- 2+ years of experience in Windows Server administration (Server 2019, 2022 preferred)
- 2+ years in a technical cybersecurity leadership position
- Ability to be on call as needed
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CASP, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable
Preferred:
- Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop strong professional relationships with fellow team members
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
- Azure Administrator Certification
- Experience implementing and managing JSIG compliant information systems
- Experience with Windows Server configuration management, performance testing, capacity management, system monitoring and alerting, update management and cost management
- Experience implementing STIGs
Security Clearance:
- Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
