We are currently seeking an exceptional customer service professional to join us as Lead Security Engineer.

The Lead Security Engineer will be responsible for a small team of Security Engineers within the IT Security program. As well as managing a small team, the role serves as a senior technical architect and systems integrator for large complex systems or networks, with a focus on securing vulnerabilities and reducing risk of system and/or asset compromises. The role requires highly specialized knowledge, abilities, skills, and experience and the ability to exercise independent judgement in the performance of their duties. The Lead Security Engineer will lead, design, develop and implement critical and complex solutions consistent with directives, policies, standards, and regulations. Work is judged primarily on overall results with great latitude in determining work methods and assignment requirements

About you

  • Bachelor or Master of Science in Computer Science, Information Security (Cybersecurity), Information Systems, or a related technical field 
  • Advanced industry certifications a plus, e.g., SANS GIAC, OSCP/E, CySA+, CASP+, CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), CCNA, CCNA Cyber Ops 
  • 7-10 years of related Information Security experience required 
  • Demonstrated work experience with network or systems engineering, cryptography, security engineering and architecture, vulnerability assessments, application security, and/or incident response      
  • Proven experience in performing administration functions of Linux/UNIX & Windows systems, network, firewall, and DNS experience 
  • Demonstrated experience with programming, scripting languages and text manipulation tool
