IT Security Compliance Analyst

The IT Security Compliance Analyst is a firsthand role and responsible for helping define, create, drive, deliver, manage, and maintain the information security and compliance program governance architecture, policies, processes, infrastructure, and operations throughout.

The role straddles three functional core areas within the regional enterprise: information security program, risk management and regulatory compliance.

An individual has an experienced cybersecurity background, demonstrable information technology technical skills, enterprise risk management, security controls implementation and the ability to ensure that information assets with associated business processes are adequately protected across the enterprise ecosystem.

The position requires an individual that understands the convergence needed to execute the overall information security strategy while partnering with IT to propose controls and service alternatives that improve our defenses against insider risks and external threats.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Promote and demonstrate positive behaviors in harmony with DP World’s Our Principles
• Participate in the HSEMS through demonstration and display of safety behaviors
• Actively communicate the HSEMS requirements with superintendents, supervisor, contractors, and workers
• Work in accordance with the Security Management System, including the immediate reporting of any suspicious activities to senior management and/or the Sr. Director, Technology Transformation
• Understand the consequences related to inappropriate conduct or behavior or disregard for safety and security programs, policies, and procedures
• Ensure workers under your direction are professionally trained and educated to perform their duties
• Conduct regular audits across regional business units to identify ineffective or missing security controls
• Ensure that personnel under your direction have a clear understanding of the discipline policy for dealing with consequences of inappropriate conduct or behavior
• Ensure that the highest levels of safety are applied in all activities
• Understand and adhere to DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies
• Perform other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 1 year of experience in a Compliance, Risk Management, or Cybersecurity role
• Strong understanding of information security and privacy standards and best practices related to data confidentiality
• Working knowledge of industry-relevant data security and compliance regulations 
• Working knowledge of compliance management tools is a plus
• Excellent analytical, data visualization, and communication skills
• A CISSP certification will be considered a plus
• Superior organizational skills must be able to manage multiple projects with high priority
• The ability to work/lead others through aggressive challenges, obstacles, deadlines, and changes are required
• Travel Up to 25%
• Ability to perform root cause analysis on issues encountered during project delivery and devise course correction and ‘get to green’ plans
• Solid experience with the management of risk, change, issues, time, scope, resources, budget, and quality
• Experience building and maintaining strong working relationships with IT stakeholders
• Ability to interact effectively with business and technology groups to deliver highly efficient solutions
• Strong commitment to client service excellence with the ability to develop and maintain trusting relationships across all levels and functional areas of an organization
