Physical Security at Deutsche Börse Group (DBG) is embedded within the Department of Group Security and ensures the mitigation of operational risks for all physical assets, including staff, sites, and events at a global range. As part of our team, you will take a decisive role in applying a holistic risk management approach and merging the interests of internal and external stakeholders to make corporate sites and events a safe place for employees and visitors. The daily balance between operational tasks and strategic thinking required for Technical Security offers you a wide range of opportunities to strengthen your security management expertise and foster your problem-solving and communication skills.
We are looking for a hands-on Physical Security Specialist with excellent analytical thinking and a strong team spirit who can demonstrate a proven track record of understanding electric security systems.
Your responsibilities:
- Design, analysis and plan electric security system requirements, including CCTV, intrusion detection system, security management system, for Deutsche Börse Group sites worldwide and create corresponding security concepts.
- End-to-end manage of projects to meet timelines, cost and quality objectives.
- Improve current system processes for efficiency, optimization purposes and ensure compliance to cybersecurity requirements.
- Steering and coordinating third-party vendors.
- Installation, de-installation, and maintenance of technical security systems at Deutsche Börse Group sites.
- Collaborating with other Group Security teams and Deutsche Börse Group stakeholders such as Facility Management, Group Legal, Group Data Protection, or other departments.
- Supporting internal and external audit activities, including remediation measures within designated timelines.
Your profile:
- Strong experience in design of integrated electronic security systems.
- Understanding of latest electronic security technologies.
- Experience in steering third-party vendors.
- Proficiency in Engineering software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Independent and structured working approach with an approachable mindset and a willingness to be flexible, collaborative, and open to finding solutions that work for all parties involved.
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant certifications are a strong asset.
- Advanced knowledge of MS 365, including Microsoft Office suite (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
- High proficiency in German and English. French language skills would be an additional asset.
- Willingness to cover on-call duties outside of regular business hours.
