About the Role:

As a Privacy Manager at Tobii Dynavox, you will be part of a global leader in medical technology, playing a key role in shaping and safeguarding data privacy and ensuring compliance across our global operations.

Please note: This is a hybrid role (2-3 days at our Stockholm office).

In this role, your impact will be on: 

  • Privacy:

    • Monitor and ensure compliance with GDPR and privacy regulations around the globe, including HIPAA, CCPA and USA state privacy regulations; PIPL, the Canadian and Australian Privacy Acts; collaborating with relevant teams to address specific regional requirements.

    • Facilitate compliance on global level by collaborating with Quality & Regulatory, Cybersecurity, IT, and department-level privacy leads.

    • Maintain and review the Record of Processing Activities (RoPA) to ensure compliance with GDPR and other global requirements.

    • Implement privacy measures during acquisitions of new companies and ensure data privacy compliance amongst our distributors and resellers.

    • Support the General Counsel and Legal team with special projects.

  • Internal Data Protection:

    • Monitor adherence to privacy policies by collaborating with relevant teams and conduct Internal and external audits of data protection compliance, recommending corrective actions where necessary.

    • Act in accordance with Articles 37–39 of the GDPR, as our internal data privacy specialist, while connecting our external DPO (Data Protection Officer) when required.

    • Be a point of contact on data privacy inquisitions regarding data protection matters (i.e. exercise of data subject rights) and promote awareness on obligations under GDPR and other privacy regulations.

    • Provide guidance on privacy assessments such as Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), Legitimate Interests Assessments (LIAs), and Transfer Impact Assessments (TIAs).

What We're Looking For: 

We are looking for someone that has: 

  • 4–5 years of experience in privacy, security or compliance roles is required.

  • Proven achievements in data analysis and data management are required.

  • Advanced communication skills (both written and verbal) in English is required.

  • Certifications such as CIPM, CISSP, and CIPP/E or similar are highly valued.

  • Experience from global/international context is highly valued.

  • Experience in security and threat assessment is preferred.

Please note: We prioritize GDRP and HIPPO knowledge and welcome candidates whether you have a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Law, Business/Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
