WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The Senior Director, Product & Strategy, will be responsible for designing and developing IT systems that strictly adhere to established compliance regulations, ensuring data security, privacy, and operational integrity while meeting specific business needs, often requiring expertise in relevant compliance frameworks like HIPAA, GDPR, or SOX, and collaborating with stakeholders to translate complex compliance requirements into functional IT solutions.

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

We are seeking a seasoned leader with a deep understanding of compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, GDPR, or SOX, and a proven ability to design secure, compliant IT systems. This role will report to the executive leadership team and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to align IT solutions with business needs and regulatory requirements.

 

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Compliance Analysis:
    • Assess business operations and identify potential compliance risks within IT systems, analyzing current practices against regulatory standards.
  • Solution Design:
    • Architect and design IT systems that incorporate compliance controls, considering data encryption, access management, audit trails, and data retention policies.
  • Requirements Gathering:
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand compliance needs and translate them into detailed functional requirements for IT solutions.
  • Technical Implementation:
    • Oversee the development and implementation of IT systems, ensuring compliance features are seamlessly integrated into the architecture.
  • Testing and Validation:
    • Conduct thorough testing to verify compliance with regulations, including penetration testing and data validation processes.
  • Documentation and Training:
    • Develop comprehensive compliance documentation, including system design documents, user guides, and training materials for relevant stakeholders.
  • Ongoing Monitoring:
    • Monitor system operations to identify potential compliance issues and proactively address any deviations from regulatory standards.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Technical Expertise:
    • Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, network security, database management, and application development practices.
  • Compliance Knowledge:
    • Thorough understanding of relevant compliance regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, SOX, PCI DSS) and industry best practices.
