Collaborating with our Technology Consulting team, you will help organizations streamline operations and achieve strategic goals to serve the public better. We provide the full spectrum of technology consulting services to help state and local agencies meet operational and program needs that enhance the lives of their user base.

Duties and Responsibilities

•    Conducts business analysis for the various business platforms.
•    Prepares and presents parts of written status reports for clients.
•    Completes analysis on large data sets. 
•    Develops competency in enterprise IT system analysis and development.
•    Develops competency in federal and state policy, specifically federal funding requirements.
•    Assists with the implementation of major project phases or tasks. 
•    Participates in proposal writing teams, including writing and coordinating submissions.
•    Assists with the preparation of other written reports, major deliverables, and other materials for clients.
•    Collects and enters project-related data.
•    Assists in developing and maintaining project budgets and preparing client invoices. 
•    Other responsibilities as necessary.

  • Possess strong Microsoft Office applications skills, including MS Word, Excel, Visio and Teams. Experience with requirements/defect management tools is a plus. Experience with data analytics/reporting tools (i.e. SQL, Power BI, other data management/analytics tools) as well as defect/test tracking tools

Desired Skills:

  • Develops security capability maps for enterprise applications and conduct assessments with stakeholders.
  • Integrates a security framework in the product lifecycle from design through deployment and maintenance.
  • Creates high-level security models that include security requirements, activities, workflow, and the display of system behavior.
  • Analyzes current and future state systems for compliance with applicable legislative and security requirements.
  • Overseas and interprets penetration testing activities.
  • Experience working with public sector clients (healthcare, finance, corrections, welfare programs, etc.) as well as a general understanding of how government projects and budgets operate

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required

Experience: 1-3 years of relevant work experience in consulting, IT or other relevant field.

Certification: Security, IIBA, and/or PMI certifications are a plus.

This position is remote with travel/onsite requirements. PCG is a remote-friendly organization and is committed to creating a culture where remote work remains a vital part of the company’s success. To be successful in a remote work role at PCG, you must:

Some travel to the office or elsewhere may be required for team meetings, client meetings, etc. We are accepting applications on an ongoing basis until filled. As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $55,000-75,000.

Compensation:

Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.  As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role below. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave
