- Propose Standard Language: Act as a subject matter expert to propose new contractual language that sets standard terms related to information security, ensuring alignment with ServiceNow's security policies.
- Lead and participate in customer negotiations related to data security, addressing inquiries and concerns to ensure successful contractual agreements.
- Analyze and assess the implications of proposed contractual terms on ServiceNow's security posture, and provide recommendations to mitigate potential risks.
- Stay current on ServiceNow architecture, industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to information security and contractual agreements.
- Navigating Ambiguity: Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in an evolving and sometimes ambiguous environment, adapting strategies as needed to address emerging challenges and opportunities.
- Engage in multiple contract negotiations with the ability to manage and prioritize workload to meet critical timelines.

- 4+ years of relevant Legal Experience: Experience working in a law firm and/or in-house legal department of a technology company, with a focus on technology contracts and information security.
- Comprehensive Understanding of Enterprise IT Industry: In-depth knowledge of the enterprise IT landscape, including SaaS and cloud computing areas, and their associated security implications.
- Team Collaboration and Information Sharing: Strong inclination towards teamwork and sharing of information to foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
- Self-Starter with Goal-Oriented Mindset: Demonstrated ability to independently manage priorities, set goals, and meet deadlines in a dynamic and occasionally ambiguous environment.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Certifications (Preferred): Relevant certifications in information security, such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
At ServiceNow, we value diversity, creativity, and innovation. If you're passionate about information security and contractual negotiations, and if you thrive in an environment that encourages collaboration, growth, leadership, adaptability, and innovation, we encourage you to apply.
