Responsibilities:

• Establish and promote secure-by-design principles across the organization.
• Develop security standards and guidelines for software development.
• Assess current and planned projects for security risks and provide architectural guidance.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security measures into system designs.
• Conduct security architecture reviews and provide recommendations.
• Stay updated on emerging security threats and technologies in software development.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive security architecture roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Lead security design reviews for new technologies and major system changes.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to relevant regulations.

Requirements:

• 12+ years of experience in IT software development, with at least 5 years focused on security architecture.
• Proven experience in building at least two security products or integrating security into large-scale software products.
• A strong advocate for secure-by-design methodologies with demonstrable implementation examples.
• Advanced proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e. g., Java, Python, Go, Rust) and relevant frameworks.
• In-depth experience with cloud platform AWS and its security features.
• Comprehensive understanding of data security principles, including encryption, access controls, and data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA).
• Experience in designing and implementing zero-trust architectures.
• Strong background in threat modeling and risk assessment methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills to promote security principles across the organization, including executive-level presentations.
• Experience in designing and implementing Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
• Knowledge of containerization and serverless security architectures.
• Familiarity with machine learning and AI security implications.
• Experience in designing secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of secure APIs and microservices architectures.
