Systems Engineer, Senior

The Opportunity: 

We're a fast-paced, highly collaborative software engineering team building and launching capability for Enterprise web-based systems in the Cybersecurity field. We're looking for a passionate, customer-focused, highly technical Systems Engineer. You'll have the opportunity to work on automation of national-level, mission-critical Cyber defense processes and integrations in security risk management, compliance, and continuous monitoring.

You know that Systems Engineers touch multiple parts of the business and wear multiple hats. You'll be a subject matter expert in product functionality, mission use cases, and customer configurations. You'll be responsible for interfacing with stakeholders and designing complex features and requirements. You'll be responsible for conducting quality assurance for features, regression testing, and developing test cases. You should be able to work independently while leading release milestones, schedule, and Agile processes.

You Have: 

  • 6+ years of experience with fielding Enterprise-scale production web-based systems

  • 6+ years of experience in a customer-facing role

  • 6+ years of experience with requirements analysis

  • 6+ years of experience with manual testing and test automation of web-based applications

  • Knowledge of web technologies, solutions architecture, relational databases, networks, Cloud, and security

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience with Cybersecurity Compliance, includin RMF, ATOs, FedRAMP, and GRC tools

  • Experience with DevSecOps and Security Tools, including Vulnerability or Container Scanning, SAST, DAST, and SBOM tools

  • Experience with programming and scripting, including in Python, C#, Java, and C++

  • TS/SCI Clearance

  • Master's degree

  • DoD 8570 IAT II+ Certification, including Security+ or CISSP

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
