Sec-Ops Engineer

CYE is looking for a Sec-Ops Engineer to join our security team. As a sec-ops engineer,you’ll help fortify CYE’s own security posture, setup defence and monitoring capabilities, and investigate alerts from multiple security solutions. 

Responsibilities

• Configure security solutions and their corresponding alerts 
• Implement new security controls to protect our on-prem/cloud infrastructure 
• Identify Security gaps and recommend on solutions to close them 
• Help design the CYE’s monitoring capabilities  
• Investigate on-going alerts  
• Be part of an CYE’s internal IR team in case of an incident 
• Support the development and implementation of processes, security policies, security foundations and security standards 
• Support achieving security certificates and assist with GRC efforts

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as a security engineer 
• Experience with security controls e.g., EDR/XDR, DLP, CSPM,CNAPP, etc. 
• Experience with Office365 & EntraID security controls  
• Experience with implementing security monitoring procedures & systems 
• Experience with securing cloud environments – AWS, Azure 
• SOC Engineer experience – An advantage 
• Security-related certifications – An advantage
