Manager, IAM Engineering and Operations

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Manager to lead our expanding IAM Engineering and Operations team in the Philippines. The IAM Manager will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and operation of our 24/7 IAM systems, which serve both customer and internal user bases.

The IAM team manages systems that support our customers and internal stakeholders, playing a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and security of our organization's operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead, mentor, manage, and staff an IAM team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and promoting a culture of excellence.
• Drive team performance by setting clear goals, providing ongoing feedback, and facilitating professional growth opportunities.
• Ensure that IAM processes support business needs while maintaining security, compliance, and user experience.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate IAM practices into broader cybersecurity and IT strategies.
• Provide technical mentorship to team members and develop their technical talent and professional skills.
• Oversee the deployment, and maintenance of IAM systems and solutions, including identity governance, authentication, authorization, and privileged access management.
• Deploy and manage technology to automate IAM processes, reduce manual interventions, and improve overall system performance.
• Manage 24/7 on-call rotations to provide support for critical customer-facing and internal Identity systems, handling escalations as required.
• Stay current with emerging trends and best practices in IAM and cybersecurity.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• University degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or another similar technical discipline
• 10+ years of experience in information technology
• 5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management
• Proven experience in managing and implementing IAM solutions in a large and complex organization.
• Strong understanding of IAM principles, technologies, and best practices.
• Experience with implementing and managing ForgeRock technologies is highly desirable
• Knowledge of, and experience with, the following technologies is desirable:
  • Azure, Active Directory
  • Windows and Linux automation technologies – Ansible, Puppet, Chef
  • AD Administration tools like AD Manager Plus
  • Identity Provisioning - ForgeRock  / Sailpoint / Saviynt
  • Privileged Access Management – BeyondTrust, CyberArk, Delinea
  • Digital Certificate Management (PKI) – Keyfactor, Venafi
• Experience with regulatory compliance and industry best practices related to IAM.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address IAM system issues and vulnerabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments and stakeholders.
