Job Description

As a Program Manager, your main responsibilities will include managing the cybersecurity transversal program, specifically overseeing the budget cycle of the area (approval process and monitoring execution), tracking mitigation projects for major cybersecurity risks, and reporting on risks and cybersecurity activities while orchestrating efforts among the involved teams.

You must also ensure clear communication between all parties, keep project status documentation up to date, and maintain the appropriate levels of quality for technical documentation.

What we expect from you:

  • Monitor key security control implementation projects (led by Cybersecurity or other organizational areas), tracking their progress, including project planning, execution status, risks, and issues requiring resolution;
  • Report project status to stakeholders;
  • Address and follow up on mitigation activities for risks identified in cybersecurity-related efforts with other departments;
  • Identify and address cybersecurity risks inherent to ongoing projects, ensuring that cybersecurity controls are implemented;
  • Manage the Cybersecurity Steering Committee and other internal communication channels, including proposing agendas, defining communication strategies, and coordinating with various stakeholders to prepare support documents for meetings;
  • Coordinate with other cybersecurity teams to support the budget management process, including preparing the annual budget proposal and monitoring its execution, anticipating needs according to the plan;
  • Assist in preparing presentations for the annual activity plans of the cybersecurity area;
  • Identify opportunities to improve cybersecurity processes and procedures.

Qualifications

Academic Background

  • Higher education in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience that combines technical expertise with management skills.

Experience

  • Relevant experience in program management or managing complex projects, preferably in the field of cybersecurity;
  • Experience in preparing management reports on risks and activities (e.g., steering committees);
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (PMBOK, SCRUM, AGILE, etc.);
  • Proficiency in managing and operating project management tools (e.g., JIRA);
  • Knowledge of information security, cybersecurity standards, and frameworks (ISO, NIST, etc.).
