We are currently seeking a dynamic Pre-Sales System Engineer to contribute to the success of our rapidly growing business.

 

You would act as the key Senior Systems Engineer to work closely with a sales representative in North India to handle DNE customers. The Systems Engineer's main mission will be to support the sales organization in all technical matters regarding pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales.

 

As a Pre-Sales Senior System Engineer you will:

Play an integral role in new business solution pitches, foster long-term relationships,  to achieve enterprise-wide deployments of Fortinet solutions and deliver meaningful results for all parties involved.

  • Pre-sales - assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint.
  • Ability to respond to RFP compliances and able to work on cross references and handling pre-bid meetings.
  • Sales calls - be the main technical resource on sales calls and answer / educate the customer on issues ranging from features, specifications and functionality to integration.
  • Conversant with networking applications and solutions.
  • Post-sales - be the lead technical contact for identified accounts for technical issues and will work closely with the technical support escalation team and engineering to answer, elevate and resolve customer's technical issues.
  • Conduct presentations on solution design, security issues, escalation handling, and Proof of Concepts (POCs) for customers, including their IT, network, security teams, CISOs, CTOs, and CIOs.
  • Provide expert knowledge and hands-on experience in enterprise security technologies, including:
    • Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW)
    • Secure Web Gateway (SWG)
    • Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)
    • Virtual Private Networks (VPN)
    • Secure Access Service Edge (SASE)
    • Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
    • Cloud Security Solutions
    • Web Application Firewall (WAF)
    • Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP)
    • Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
    • Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR)
  • Develop and document POC results for customers.
  • Lead strategic initiatives and provide consultative support to organizations.
  • Foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment within the team.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of cybersecurity trends, solutions, and industry best practices.
  • Utilize Fortinet Sales Strategy and Solution Messaging to align security solutions with customer business objectives.
  • Participate in customer and partner presentations, effectively articulating Fortinet's value proposition.
  • Contribute to the development of case studies, white papers, and technical articles for customers and partners.

We Are Looking For:

An insightful and influential collaborator to join our team. We encourage you to apply for this position if you have the following qualities:

  • Strong technical expertise and hands on experience in atleast 4 or more enterprise network and security technologies such as NGFW, SWG, ZTNA, VPN, SASE, Cloud Security, WAF, CNAPP, SIEM, and SOAR.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or hybrid environments) is added advantage
  • Experience in identifying and mitigating security risks in cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Ability to conduct technical presentations and POCs for technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong consulting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Prior experience working in Fortinet security solutions is a plus.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS/Azure Security, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent are highly desirable.
