Senior Program Manager - Red Hat Product Security Operations (Ireland or Czech Republic)

Red Hat is the world’s leading provider of enterprise open source solutions, including high-performing Linux, cloud, container, and Kubernetes technologies.The Red Hat Product Security Operations team is looking for an experienced Senior Security Program Manager in EMEA to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining awareness of emerging and changing cyber policy in EMEA while understanding the impacts on our existing risk based cybersecurity framework for software development lifecycle. In this role you must be able to thoroughly understand policy, such as the European Union’s (EU) Cyber Resiliency Act (CRA), and its impacts on Red Hat products, processes, and policies. You will oversee and coordinate how Red Hat coherently addresses security requirements for EMEA and the ability to lead / advocate for company-wide change when necessary. Teamwork is important as you will build relationships ensuring a coordinated approach to our solutions with various organizations within the company and throughout the cybersecurity industry.

What you will do
- Stay informed on evolving EU regulations, determine the impact to current operations, and craft recommendations and plans to improve processes, policies, security measures, and operational changes when necessary
- Compile inputs from various SMEs on emerging regulatory trends to inform software development decisions
- Manage relationships across the business
- Work closely with Red Hat teams within Open Source Program Office, Government Affairs and Legal organizations to understand and respond to relevant regulatory changes.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including Compliance, IT, InfoSec, Engineering, and Legal, to ensure a cohesive approach to risk management across departments.
- Orchestrate open source stewardship through industry working groups such as OpenSSF, Eclipse foundation
- Use your knowledge to help us identify novel solutions to meeting CRA and other EU regulatory security requirements.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans to meet program objectives.
What you will bring

- Great communication and listening skills
- Solid leadership skills with the ability to influence and work effectively with stakeholders across all levels.
- Familiarity with EU cybersecurity regulations, standards (CEN/CENELEC) and frameworks
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and threat actors
- Experience managing complex software development or security projects
- Ability to draft clear communications and other written documentation
- Fluency in English
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CISA are preferred
