  • The Role: 

    As an account manager you are responsible for driving growth within the organization by both deepening relationships with existing customers and identifying opportunities to acquire new logos.  This role focuses on strategic account management and the sales of a comprehensive cybersecurity platform, leveraging an understanding of industry trends. Additionally, you will use your business development skills to identify and secure new partnerships, thereby expanding the organization’s market presence and influence. Effective communication, negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to client management are essential for success in this position. 

      

    Your responsibilities: 

    • The objective of this role is to create and maintain a high-quality working relationship with a broad range of contacts at both new and existing accounts 

    • Finding new clients and building business relationships. Not afraid of prospecting, an entrepreneurial mindset is required. 

    • Create new opportunities for Trend Micro at accounts and focus on replacing competitive products. 

    • Expand our footprint with our existing customers. 

    • Work closely with the necessary Systems Integrators, resellers, and other partners to enable strategic development of your defined accounts.  

    • Maintain up-to-date pipeline and forecast reporting systems. 

    • Attendance and presentation at relevant sales exhibitions and events. 

    • Provision of timely and accurate reports on a regular and day to day basis as directed by the Country Director.

    • Fluent in both written and spoken Dutch and English 

    • Excellent at presentation and communication. 

    • Excellent at influencing, negotiation and relationship building. 

    • Flexible in mindset in a changing environment.

    You have:     

        

    • A Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in selling technology-based solutions. 

    • Consultative Selling Experience You know how to use consultative selling methodologies to show the (business) value of our solutions. 

    • Strategic Conversations skills: Ability to engage in strategic technology conversations, particularly in Cyber Security, with IT management, CISO and CIO’s. This combined with facilitation a business risk and cybersecurity risk conversation. 

    • Stakeholder management capabilities: Ability to identify key persons within an account and understand their decision-making and procurement processes. Combined with the competency to develop an account strategy, define a roadmap, and lead an account team to achieve results. 

    • Drive and Creativity: The drive and creativity to win new logos to extend our customer base. and channel partners to position the Trend Micro as a preferred and trusted business partner. 

    • Cyber Security Expertise: Experience in selling cybersecurity solutions is advantageous, particularly when combined with knowledge of current trends and cybersecurity regulations.
