The Opportunity

Frame.io is changing the future of how videos are made by helping over 4 million creative professionals seamlessly collaborate from all over the world.

Engineering at Frame.io is about more than just writing code - it's crafting products that inspire creativity and allow our users to do great work. We care deeply about how our products are built, how they look, how they feel, and how they function.

We're looking for an experienced security architect to join our engineering team who will prioritize both Frame.io product engineering goals and the overall security goals of Adobe to align and improve our product development lifecycle. You will ensure strong security practices for Frame.io and be the primary liaison between Frame.io teams and the broader Adobe Security organization.

We obsess over performance, scalability, privacy, and security. Our engineers are using React (including Server Components), Next.js, Apollo Client, Typescript, GraphQL, Elixir, Python, Go, AWS services, K8s, Postgres, Argo, Github, and more.

Success in this role will result in a best-in-class application that enables our customers to do their best work while trusting us to secure their content by embedding robust security practices directly within our development and operational processes.

What You’ll Do

Identifying, triaging, prioritizing, and facilitating mitigation of security concerns using a risk-based approach, carefully balancing security, business, and customer needs

• Influence product strategies and roadmaps to include vital security measures, ensuring Frame.io leads in security
• Partner with multi-functional experts (Engineering, Product, Compliance, Legal, Security, etc.) to define customer-centric solutions to security and architecture concerns
• Define security practices and effectively communicate them across Frame.io and Adobe
• Handle risk assessments, provide business justifications for risk adjustments and exceptions, and ensure Frame.io meets strict security standards
• Defining and refining architecture, technologies, and development practices that will be applied across the product
• Promote engineering excellence with a focus on performance, scalability, and security
• Models Adobe values within the team, partner organizations, and customers

What You’ll Need To Succeed

• Outstanding organization, planning, and communication skills with attention to detail. This role requires speaking publicly to senior leadership and customers
• Proficient knowledge of public cloud infrastructure, architecture, and associated security concepts and challenges
• Deep familiarity with foundational security principles, techniques, and standard methodologies such as authentication, authorization, logging, baselines, and data handling and a deep curiosity and focus on modern security technologies and techniques
• Solid knowledge of application & operations security vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10) and mitigation techniques
• A dedication to learning and sharing ideas with your fellow engineers with mastery of breaking down, discussing, and communicating technical concepts

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $174,100 -- $334,500 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
