What You Will Do:

Our Cybersecurity Consultants are a team of business integrators with extensive consulting and industry experience who help our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy through execution. The Okta Support Specialist will support a high-paced client environment generally responsible for providing technical support to internal teams and end-users on the Okta platform and its functionality. You should expect to provide Okta team members support with training material development, stakeholder engagements, critical problem solving, all while mainly focused on troubleshooting and resolving trouble tickets and issues related to Okta configurations and application integrations. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide support for the client’s ICAM Program as needed.

  • Coordinate with multiple T1 Service Desks and the supporting staff on the triage and/or resolution of T1, T2, and T3 ServiceNow incident tickets and service requests related to Okta and/or ICAM services.

  • Escalate more complex problems or unresolved issues to next level of support and/or identify proper Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to address these issues.

  • Provide day-to-day operational support for tools that interact with Active Directory, Okta, and other ICAM technologies (i.e., SailPoint, CyberArk).

  • Address client and customer questions directly.

  • Achieve metrics in support of service level agreements, client satisfaction surveys, and completed incidents/requests.

  • Recommend process changes as needed to improve service levels.

  • Provide white-glove support to VIP users, as needed.

What You Will Need:

  • Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD Public Trust

  • Bachelor's degree

  • FOUR (4) or more years of IT experience

  • Experience using Okta as an enterprise identity provider solution.

  • Knowledge of Okta including features, integrations, and architecture.

  • Experience troubleshooting Okta user authentication and application issues.

  • Broad knowledge of cybersecurity threats and mitigating IT solutions.

  • Strong communication (written and verbal), multitasking and customer service skills.

  • Work effectively in a team environment to maintain Service Desk coverage and support model.

  • Proficient in managing multiple tasks at one time and prioritizing said tasks.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Strong planning and organizational skills.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a TOP SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant IT or cybersecurity area

  • Okta Certified Professional, Administrator, Consultant, Developer, and/or Architect certifications.

  • Experience using operational tools such as ServiceNow.

  • Understanding of authentication protocols, such as SAML 2.0 or OAuth.

  • Experience configuring user authentication policies and application connections in Okta.

  • Experience configuring and managing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) factors for Okta users, including Okta Verify/FastPass, FIDO tokens, One-Time Passcodes, and RSA tokens.

  • Experience leveraging Okta APIs to construct calls for required tasks.

  • Experience leveraging of Python scripts and their application for Okta.

  • Experience following established software development standards and procedures and contribute towards their improvement.

  • Familiarity with SDLC process, including designing and developing applications.

  • Broad knowledge of information system technologies with willingness to learn new technologies.

  • Strong understanding of IAM principles and how to implement them in an enterprise solution.

The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
