About the role

Join Partner Solutions (PSI) Network Operations & Security team as a Security Analyst II – Network Security  

What you'll do here: 

  • Monitor network activities to detect and remediate malicious traffic using firewalls, IDS, IPS and other available tools. 

  • Stay up to date and assess 0-days, actively exploited vulnerabilities and current threats to plan and prioritize remediation activities in a timely manner.  

  • Act as point of contact for client support or escalated tickets related to network security issues. 

  • Collaborate closely with other IT teams to solve complex problems or investigations related to network security. 

  • Contribute to enforcing network security policies, standards, best practices as well as compliance with regulations to enhance the organization's security posture. 

  • Participate in projects and initiatives including network components. 

  • Work with third-party vendors, service providers and clients to follow up on on-going cases.  

  • Document and maintain SOPs related to policies and procedures.  

  • Provide recommendations and support in network-related initiatives.  

  

What you bring to the table: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, network engineering, computer science or other relevant fields.   

  • 3-5 years' experience as a network security analyst.  

  • In-depth knowledge of networking fundamentals, routing, switching and network devices. 

  • In-depth knowledge of network security architecture controls. 

  • Good knowledge of VPC network fundamentals. 

  • Excellent team player, capacity to work with different internal and external teams.  

  • Ability to problem-solve complex network-related issues.   

  • Ability to work with different operating systems.  

  • Ability to communicate highly technical concepts to different audiences.   

  • Client oriented.  

  • Motivated by challenges and an ever-changing environment!   

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.   For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.

  • Recognized certification such as PCNSE, CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, CEH is an asset.  

  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada
