Key Responsibilities:
- Provide relevant business first, risk proportionate, pragmatic security advice and support for all GSK sites and personnel within area of operations.
- Identify threats to the BUs, assess risk, and provide proportionate advice to treat the risks effectively.
- Align with the Global Corporate Security Operations & Resilience strategy focused on protecting and enabling GSK’s people, places and products.
- Assist Director of Global Security Operations & Resilience in the development and implementation of Corporate Security objectives.
- Provide leadership, advice and support to Security Champions area of responsibility, ensuring capabilities and competencies are developed to meet business needs and act as a force multiplier for the Corporate Security Operations & Resilience strategy.
- Support GSK product security and cross-functional anti-counterfeiting programmes across an area of responsibility.
- Support programmes that secure GSK’s end-to-end supply chain.
- Support the Crisis Management and Business Continuity programmes throughout the region.
- Deliver the region’s Security Awareness and Education initiatives.
- Effective security incident management, investigations and advice to GSK personnel at all levels.
- Undertake Site Security Assurance audits and manage the Global Security Services contract within the area of responsibility, partnering with both site Security Champions and the service provider to ensure the highest levels of delivery and performance management.
- Advise on development and strategy for site technical security projects, including security technology, equipment requirements and simplification processes.
- Develop & deliver strategic security awareness briefings for management teams and employees, including other security education material as appropriate.
- Establish and maintain liaison with intelligence and law enforcement agencies within area of responsibility to support the global Corporate Security Operations and Resilience response activities within area of responsibility to limit disruption to business operations.
- Be prepared to support during business disruptions where required, including a 24/7 Corporate Security response service within the area of responsibility as necessary.

Basic Qualifications
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- A degree or equivalent professional experience in Security, Government Agencies, Risk Management, or Crisis Management
- Minimum of 10 years of security management experience. Former roles demonstrating leadership and execution with proven expertise in delivering security programs across a diverse & multi-country portfolio
- Prior experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry and Brand Integrity preferred
- Experience with CCM / BCP
- Security Risk Management expertise and experience in using Risk Management Information Systems
- Experience in senior-level briefing/influencing
- Investigation experience, including interviewing and incident management
- Linkage to external senior stakeholders (Intelligence Services, Law Enforcement, Security Peers)
