We are expanding our IT security efforts by establishing an independent team dedicated to advising both our organization and our customers. We are seeking a skilled IT Security Specialist to join this team. In this role, you will work at the intersection of technical security expertise and organizational strategy, helping to implement and promote innovative security solutions. Your contributions will play a key role in strengthening our "Cyber-Resilience," ensuring we can prevent, mitigate, and respond effectively to both significant and minor IT security incidents.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate security policies into actionable and practical measures for implementation.
  • Build and manage Microsoft 365 security capabilities to enhance organizational security.
  • Provide expert guidance in designing and developing security architecture.
  • Respond to and manage IT security incidents, ranging from minor issues to major threats.
  • Assist in forensic investigations to analyze and address security breaches.
  • Collaborate with operations teams and project teams to ensure the adoption of security best practices.
  • Develop and enhance operational vulnerability management capabilities.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of security incidents.
  • Ensure compliance with security governance standards and manage related processes

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT Security.
  • Relevant Certifications: CompTIA Security+, MS-500, AZ-500, SC-200, SC-300, SC-400
  • Strong technical expertise in IT, including hardware, software, and networks.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Proficient in using logic and reasoning to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of IT systems.
  • In-depth understanding of hacker methodologies and the ability to stay updated with the rapidly evolving cyber threat landscape.
