As the risk and intelligence specialist, your job will be providing actionable and relevant intelligence to a variety of audiences across the business. You will be the go-to person for all analysis related queries and be responsible for weekly, monthly, and ad hoc deliverables in writing as well as verbal briefings. Additionally, you will have a role in supporting the investigations practice. The specialist will be responsible for delivering relevant and valuable threat intelligence across a variety of levels and to different business audiences. You should be comfortable presenting and writing for a C-Suite audience and able to include data and trend into your analysis.
This position supports the Group Security Department and wider JM business to achieve their operational and commercial objectives across a complex and high security risk environment. This is a mid-level position that reports to the Global Head of Security Programmes.

As part of the Security Programmes team, you’ll support the delivery of the travel security, incident reporting and global security intelligence programmes. The role will involve some global travel, supporting out onsite security personnel and have key interactions with Group functions in our London HQ.
Your responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality analysis on global security risk issues impacting the precious metals industry.
• Support Site and Area Security Managers with high-quality and timely security updates.
• Deliver ad-hoc and regular written briefings for senior leadership.
• Concisely analyse information received from internal teams to present clear and concise trend data to inform business decisions related to security.
• Conduct location specific threat assessments for events, new offices, and areas of interest.
• Support corporate events with ongoing analysis and intelligence information.
• Review and assess staff travel risks assessments and provide travel security briefings (verbal and written) to high-risk travellers.
• Deliver ad hoc deep-dive reports onto specific topics impacting the industry both on request and independently.
• Support major investigations working alongside HR, Legal and DPO to provide intelligence analysis and risk management oversight.
• Collect data from open source, including websites, social media, forums, public records, databases and utilise AI where appropriate.
• Analyse and process large volumes of open-source data to identify trends, patterns and potential threats
• Manage and deliver an investigations and intelligence framework for Group Security, supporting colleagues with training and guidance.
• Ensure intelligence vendors continue to offer value for money and best-in-class services.
• Support investigations, operations and assurance activity across Group Security
Requirements for the role:
• Relevant experience in research, due diligence, intelligence or investigations from areas such as law enforcement, journalism, corporate intelligence, financial fraud and/or cyber security
• Proficient at collecting, analysing, and understanding data/metrics to inform decision making
• Effective communicator; experienced and proficient at presenting to various groups of people
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and experience with Microsoft technologies (such as Power BI)
• Experience in analysing and presenting data to a senior audience
• Strong communication skills at all levels
