Job Description
We have an opportunity for a Junior Technical Analyst to join our talented Professional Services Team. The Contractor shall support ongoing technical operation and maintenance tasks of the EKT Project Team. These tasks encompass IT Functional areas of security, automation, development, database, and networking. The ideal candidate shall work closely with a highly flexible and agile DevOps Team to deliver a high-quality ERP to the customer.
Responsibilities
- Actively coordinate with the infrastructure teams to plan, develop, implement and test security controls that meet Federal regulations, program objectives, operational needs and user experience, particularly data collection components. Support the integration of security across the lifecycle.
- Support development and maintenance of security documentation such as the System Security Plan, Privacy Impact Assessment, Configuration Management Plan, Contingency Plan, Contingency Plan Test Report, POA&M, annual FISMA assessment, and incident reports.
- Assist to ensure the proper implementation and management of cybersecurity controls.
- Attend and document minutes of biweekly Cyber calls with the PMO and ISSO
- Monitor weekly IAVM list for applicable vulnerabilities to the system and escalate for Tech team remediation
- Assist with technical and non-technical living documentation to support the operational efficiency of the project team
- Take ownership of daily Switchboard data refreshes to ensure accurate Agile story counts, LOE, and Developer ownership
- Monitor daily system up/down of the web application, database, and other critical components to ensure high availability to the customer and end users
- Actively participate in all team DevOps ceremonies such as sprint planning, bi-weekly touchpoints, status meetings, and end of sprint retrospective
Qualifications
Required
- BS degree related field and/or experience in Cybersecurity and Information Technology
- Demonstrated understanding of IT hardware/software, networking, databases, infrastructure, and security best practices
- Demonstrated understanding of Agile and DevOps processes
- Developed problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent presentation & communication skills in both oral and written form. A genuine desire to learn is essential
- Experience working in the Federal Government
- Eligible for Government Secret Clearnce
