Title: Information Security Analyst (12-month FTC)

Location: Guernsey

Division: Security Operations

Reports to: Cyber Security Operations Manager

THE ROLE

Key responsibilities
The Information Security Analyst is a vital role within Agilisys and this role will provide Information Security advice and consultancy to a wide range of stakeholders across business and IT.

Specific duties
Depending on the project, you will need to be comfortable doing the following:

  • Providing Information Security advice and consultancy to a wide range of stakeholders across business and IT
  • Working closely with our operational and architecture functions to provide information security advice
  • Responsible for ensuring that any vulnerabilities identified are processed in accordance with the latest Information Security Risk Management process
  • Review the networking infrastructure and systems to ensure security best practices and standards are implemented and followed
  • Gather Threat Intelligence and perform Threat analysis and reporting
  • Monitor and review output from security logs and monitoring systems
  • Security incidents - Investigate, escalate and resolve security issues and alerts
  • Maintain security guidelines, ensuring that compliance plans are maintained, promoting continual improvement
  • Liaise with relevant external bodies to achieve or maintain security accreditations or certifications
  • Work with project and programme teams to identify solutions to security challenges that they might introduce, to ensure that security and compliance is maintained
  • Maintaining Information Security Management processes to ISO 27001 standards, as well as certifications and approvals
  • Managing security assessments and risk assessments assisting Agilisys and the client to investigate any IT security incidents/events

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate will have a track-record in delivering results while embracing change and uncertainty. Excellent stakeholder management experience is essential to being successful in this role.

The Ideal Candidate 

  • Customer focused and influential, with a high desire to drive results
  • Experience with technologies such as: Microsoft Azure and Office 365, SIEM, IPS/IDS, WAF, DLP, IAM
  • Ideally at least 2 years professional experience in a security relevant role such as security administration, security analyst or security engineering etc.
  • Solid technical background
  • Ideally have one or more of the following qualifications, Security+, CySA+, CASP+, SC-200, SC-300, AZ-500
  • Understanding of security incident response techniques
  • Experience working with Cyber Essentials Plus and/or NCSC’s CAF
  • Change management experience for both Information Security and business impacting Information Security Change
