Job Summary

Under immediate supervision oversees the overall security posture and risk management program as it applies to our computing environment for on-premises and cloud-based solutions. 

Essential Functions

  • Works with Cybersecurity Engineers to maintain cybersecurity systems.
  • Maintains confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the computing environment and enforces the Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Assists in incident response by providing administrative assistance.
  • Recognizes and discerns what is allowed by policy and how to apply basic security controls.
  • Monitors select cybersecurity systems, solutions, or services and identifies potential issues for additional review.
  • Adheres to the confidentiality of investigations, incidents, and forensics reviews.
  • Manages basic cybersecurity projects with reporting to leadership.  These may include 3rd party security reviews, DLP solutions, remote access requests, and other projects defined by management.
  • Provides cybersecurity training and performs presentations to small audiences of less than 50 people on cybersecurity topics.
  • Works with sensitive information and engages with Enterprise Privacy, the Legal Department, and law enforcement, where directed by leadership.

Physical Requirements 

Must be available for callback support on a regular basis including trave to facilities and data centers located in various states. Ability to sit for extended periods of time. Ability to lift and carry objects up to 40 pounds. Extensive evening and weekend hours may be required during incidents, major project go-lives, or during downtimes.

Base Pay: $67,496.00 - 101,296.00 annually

Base compensation listed within the listed pay range based on factors such as qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training
Premium pay such as shift, on call, and more based on a teammate's job

Education, Experience and Certifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred or 1 year relevant IS experience required with 1 year of Cybersecurity experience preferred. Basic knowledge of cybersecurity information security controls, infrastructure and implementation techniques required. Basic understanding of HIPAA requirements and payment Card Industry are preferred and the ability to quickly learn is required. Ability to work individually or within a group setting. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
