Our global Discovery Solutions professionals within our Cyber & Data Resilience service line are experienced advisors built on Kroll’s DNA of risk and investigations. Traditional technologists (forensics, data analysis, discovery) and data scientists converge with globally experienced fact-finding professionals to provide clients with unparalleled end-to-end technology, data analytics, and integrity solutions throughout the Compliance, Investigation and Litigation lifecycle.

 

At Kroll, your work will help deliver clarity to our clients’ most complex governance, risk, and transparency challenges. We seek a highly skilled and experienced Manager to join our team. This role is critical to supporting large-scale global investigations, ensuring the efficient and effective management of digital evidence and data. The successful candidate will possess in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity and Reveal.

 

Day to Day Responsibilities:

 

Effective project management is core to the success of our Discovery Solutions capability. As a Manager you will work to lead engagements as part of the Discovery Solutions team within Cyber & Data Resilience. This role involves the ability to lead and assist teams in collaborative problem solving and execution. It also requires the individual to assist leadership in growing existing and building new client relationships and to bring their technical and commercial experience to shape the future of our practice. A fundamental understanding of structured and unstructured data analysis, and the correlation between the two is paramount. 

 

Key responsibilities will include the following:

  • Working with teams on complex open-ended investigative projects to discover anomalies, unusual behaviors/trends, and to measure risks for the purposes of forensic and regulatory investigations, compliance and litigation work.  Example areas of work will include fraud, bribery and corruption, sanctions, money laundering, data governance and privacy, market abuse, insider trading and many more
  • Support large-scale investigations across multiple jurisdictions, adhering to relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor and supervise a team of eDiscovery professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with Kroll colleagues to create cross-functional value-add solutions with technology, data and analytics components
  • Enhancing our practice’s market presence with thought leadership, conference/seminar representation and targeted client interaction
  • Oversee all aspects of the eDiscovery lifecycle, including data collection, processing, review, analysis, and production.
  • Coordinate and manage multiple eDiscovery projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs, concerns, and inquiries related to eDiscovery matters.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in eDiscovery technology and practices and implement improvements as necessary.
  • Utilize advanced features of Relativity and Reveal to support complex investigations, customize workflows, and optimize data management.

 

Essential Traits:

  • Commitment to obtaining outstanding results, delivering high quality work with a client centric mindset
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications in eDiscovery are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in eDiscovery management, with a proven track record of handling large global investigations.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using eDiscovery platforms, specifically Relativity and Reveal. Strong understanding of data processing, analysis, and production workflows.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Client Management: Experience in managing client relationships and expectations effectively.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to eDiscovery and data privacy.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.

The current salary range for this position is $90,000 to $200,000
