Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a Compliance Specialist to join our IT Security Team. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory frameworks while supporting IT security initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in compliance and IT security, preferably within the financial or banking sector.

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepare and coordinate periodic reports to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  
• Monitor, analyze, and report IT security incidents to mitigate risks.
  
• Develop and implement internal IT security regulations to enhance organizational security measures.
  
• Support IT projects and change management processes by ensuring compliance with security standards.
  
• Review contracts and internal policies to ensure alignment with current security regulations.
  
• Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations related to IT security.
  
• Collaborate with external entities (e.g., ZBP, CSIRT) on cybersecurity matters.
  
• Organize and deliver IT security training for both new hires and current employees.
  

Requirements

Education:

• Degree in IT, Economics, Law, or a related field.
  

Experience:

• 2–3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the financial or banking industry.
  

Certifications and Knowledge:

• Familiarity with ISO standards related to IT security, business continuity, and IT service management is a plus.
  
• Understanding of IT security systems (e.g., SIEM, IPS, firewalls, network devices).
  
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIS2, DORA, National Cybersecurity Act).
  

Skills:

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  
• Basic understanding of banking and financial processes.
  

Languages:

• Polish: Fluent (spoken and written).
  
• English: Proficient (spoken and written).
