Sygnia is looking for a ‘Red Team’ Team Leader to manage a team of highly skilled red teamers. The team leader will lead and participate in red teaming, purple teaming, advanced penetration testing, and adversarial simulations. The team leader will be instrumental in assisting organizations worldwide to enhance their cyber security resilience by providing an attacker’s perspective, and identifying high-impact attack vectors that are likely to be used by threat actors.
The successful candidate should have a passion for cyber security, and the ability to lead and mentor highly capable red team members. The candidate should possess strong technical offensive security skills, and demonstrate an attacker mindset.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead a mixed team of highly skilled red teamers and penetration testers with a focus on infrastructure, cloud, and product security.
- Design and execute attacks against organizations’ services, platforms, and infrastructures in order to identify vulnerabilities and uncover risks, ahead of attackers.
- Apply an ‘attacker mindset’ to support and guide organizations in enhancing resilience.
- Engage in modeling and adversarial simulation processes.
- Adopt and apply new tactics, techniques, and procedures in red and purple team engagements.
- Validate organizations’ ability to detect, respond to, and recover from targeted attacks and persistent threats.
- Recruit and mentor team members and provide oversight, guidance, and support to the team, while creating an environment of constant learning and excellence.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a penetration tester or red teamer.
- Deep understanding and experience in penetration testing methodologies and tools.
- Experience in technical management roles.
- Proven technical skills in a broad technology set, including the ability to develop offensive security tools.
- Demonstrated experience in scripting and using development tools (C/C++, Python, PowerShell, .NET).
- Experience in professional services consulting – an advantage.
- Experience in reverse engineering – an advantage.
- Ability to perform and thrive in a dynamic environment and to work in parallel on multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
- Willingness to travel abroad.
