What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in information management, Information Technology, Information System, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 10+ years’ experience in Service Delivery Management managing multiple teams across different functions or regions.
- Ability to develop and maintain systems and processes for IT.
- Ability in: Cross-Cultural Communication and Management, Strategic Planning and Alignment, Technical Proficiency, Leadership and Team Development, Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills, Project Management, Risk Management, Negotiation and Vendor Management, Adaptability and Resilience.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management. Strong customer service attributes
Nice to Have:
- Certification desirable: PMP, CSM, ITIL, CISSP, Lean Six Sigma, CITP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Leadership and Management Certifications.
- Knowledge of budget management
- Experience working in Retail or Pharmaceutical Industry.
What will you do?
- You will be responsible for leading the offshore IT delivery and the Centre of Excellence (COE) operations, ensuring alignment with our Australian management's strategic goals. This role encompasses overseeing IT project delivery, managing offshore team dynamics, ensuring quality and compliance, and fostering strong relationships between offshore and onshore teams.
- Liaising with Onshore Management: Act as the primary liaison (escalation) between the offshore COE and onshore Australian management teams, aligning offshore activities with the organization’s strategic objectives and addressing any operational concerns, including performance management input.
- Recruitment and Staffing: Lead the recruitment process for offshore managerial and lead positions, from defining role criteria to interviewing and involved in final hiring decisions along with the Australian manager, ensuring the selection of candidates who are best aligned with company values and project needs.
- Service Management: Coordinate cross-functional teams during critical incidents and ensures swift and effective resolution to minimize service downtime.
- KPIs: Establish and Monitor Key performance indicators (KPIs) related to service availability and reliability.
- Onboarding and Training: Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including developing and implementing comprehensive training programs to integrate team member effectively into the team and enhance their skill sets for optimal performance.
- Performance and Project Oversight: Regularly assess the performance of offshore managers and leads, ensuring projects are executed with efficiency, and deliverables meet the expected standards.
- Communication and Collaboration: Foster open and effective communication and collaboration between offshore and onshore teams, utilizing regular meetings, updates, and collaborative tools to ensure cohesion and alignment.
- Quality and Compliance: Guarantee that the work produced by the offshore team adheres to the highest quality standards and complies with all relevant regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
- Budget and Risk Management: Partner with leadership to manage the budget (P&L) allocated to the offshore COE, including planning, allocation, and optimisation, while identifying potential risks to offshore operations and developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Continual Improvement: Drive the continual improvement of processes, systems, budgets, and team performance, identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency gains within the offshore COE.
