Ponsse, a global leader in the forestry industry, is seeking a Manager of Infrastructure and Information Security to join our Digital Services & IT team.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll actively contribute to developing Ponsse’s cybersecurity practices while guiding your team to build scalable, standardized infrastructure and enable fast, reliable software releases. From securing operations to fostering automation, you’ll make a direct impact on the technology that drives Ponsse’s innovation.

Key Responsibilities in this role:

• Lead by Example: Combine strategic oversight with hands-on contributions, particularly in the development of future proof, scalable and secure infrastructure.
• Secure Operations: Develop and implement technical information security strategies to protect critical systems and data against evolving threats.
• Enhance IAM Systems: Work closely with your team to improve identity and access management frameworks for security, scalability, and compliance.
• Enable DevOps and Automation: Drive the adoption of DevOps practices and increase automation to streamline continuous development and release processes.
• Build Scalable Infrastructure: Oversee the development of infrastructure solutions that are standardized, scalable, and reliable, spanning data centers, cloud platforms, and networks.
• Collaborate and Empower: Lead and support a skilled team of specialists, ensuring their work aligns with strategic goals and enables success at every level.

What We’re Looking For?

We value both practical expertise and strategic thinking. To succeed in this role, you should:

• Be Hands-On and Proactive: Enjoy combining high-level strategy with rolling up your sleeves to tackle challenges, especially in cybersecurity development.
• Understand Strategy and Execution: Be skilled at connecting the dots between strategy and day-to-day team impact, ensuring progress is actionable and measurable.
• Have a Solid Technical Background: Bring strong experience in at least some of the following areas: information security, DevOps, IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, networks, or automation. Familiarity with ISO 27001 implementation or management is an advantage.
• Communicate and Lead: Be a collaborative leader who motivates your team and communicates effectively in English.
• Solve Problems Practically: Approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset, focusing on delivering real results.

You will report to the Chief Digital Officer, be part of Digital Services and IT management team and work closely with our global teams. This position offers the chance to make a significant impact on Ponsse’s digital infrastructure and security landscape.
