Leidos has a current job opportunity for a Deputy Program Manager on the DISA GSM-O II J6 Penetration Handling, Incident, System Health (PHISH) program in Alexandria, VA. Through the J6 PHISH support services task order, we provide IT products, services and solutions to the Pentagon and other DoD offices and agencies for them to meet mission and business requirements.

This Task Order has 115+ FTEs working to perform PHISH support services for the J6-supported networks and infrastructure. The team assists the J6 with monitoring network and end point data to prevent, detect, respond, and recover from adversarial activities for J6 and customer IP address space, compute and storage capabilities, desktops, laptops, VDI, data repositories in the FOUO, unclassified, secret, JWICS, and associated management networks. The Deputy Program Manager is responsible for supporting the management of cost, schedule, quality and risk. The DPM must support, provide leadership, and have the interpersonal communication skills necessary to inspire and lead a complex and high-paced environment. The DPM will interface with senior J6 leaders, contracting officer, and the COR. 

Primary Responsibilities:     

  • Perform duties under the strategic and operational vision of the Program Manager
  • Responsible for financial, technical, administrative, contractual, and personnel aspects of the contract
  • Manage project schedules and coordinate contractor activities in accordance with the PWS
  • Work closely with third parties (e.g. other contractors, other Federal entities) to facilitate integrated mission support
  • Present regular executive briefings to the government on services provided on the contract (verbal and written)
  • Apprise Government stakeholders on productivity and quality assurance
  • Ensure that all work on the contract complies with the contract terms and conditions and is approved/coordinated with senior corporate managers
  • Responsible for making sure the program is staffed and working with teammates to achieve Leidos success
  • Supports delivery of CDRLs
  • Coordinates with government customer, understands customer’s technical needs
  • Proactively identified and mitigates risks; identifies and capitalizes on opportunities
  • Establishes and maintains an inclusive work environment consistent with Leidos values and ethics

Basic Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start.
  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience. Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Prior experience with programs of similar size and complexity (50-100 FTEs; Defensive Cyber)
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge in planning, directing, and managing projects/operations in an organization similar in size to this program
  • Demonstrates experience with researching and fielding new and innovative technologies
  • Demonstrates experience in procurement of IT hardware and software
  • Demonstrates experience in defensive cyber operations
  • Effectively work with a team establishing, strong, collaborative working relationships with government customers, technical staff, and senior managers
  • Strong follow through skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with J6 and/or understands J6's mission
  • 5 or more years of IT program management or leadership experience in DoD environment
  • 10 or more years IT program management experience
  • PMP Certification
  • ITL Foundations Certification
  • DoD 8570 IAM Level II Certification

Pay Range:

Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
