What You’ll Get to Do
CACI is seeking an Application Migration Cyber Lead for our US Air Force Cloud One Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration contract. This role will be crucial in ensuring the security and compliance of applications throughout the migration process to cloud environments. This role requires a strong background in cybersecurity with specific emphasis on cloud security and application migration. The ideal candidate will have a mix of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of DoD security requirements.
More About the Role
· Lead cybersecurity efforts for application migration projects, ensuring compliance with DoD and federal security standards.
· Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity risk assessments for applications being migrated to cloud environments.
· Develop and implement security strategies and controls for cloud-based applications.
· Guide teams in implementing secure coding practices and integrating security into the CI/CD pipeline.
· Oversee the implementation of application-level Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) support.
· Lead efforts in obtaining and maintaining Authority to Operate (ATO) for migrated applications.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address security concerns throughout the application migration lifecycle.
· Implement and maintain security monitoring and incident response processes for migrated applications.
· Ensure compliance with relevant security frameworks including RMF, NIST, and FedRAMP.
· Provide expert guidance on cloud security best practices and emerging threats.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
· 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years focused on cloud security.
· In-depth knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies and procedures
· Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Authority to Operate (ATO) processes.
· Proficiency in cloud security tools and practices for major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
· Strong understanding of secure coding practices and application security testing methodologies.
· Experience with DevSecOps practices and tools.
· Current DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
· DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level III certification (e.g., CISSP, CASP+).
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
· Master's degree in Cybersecurity or related field.
· Experience with FedRAMP and FedRAMP+ environments.
· Familiarity with containerization security and microservices architecture security.
· Knowledge of AI/ML security considerations in cloud environments.
· Experience with cloud-native security tools and practices.
· Certifications such as CCSP, CSSLP, or cloud platform-specific security certifications.
· Experience with threat modeling and secure architecture design.
· Familiarity with automated security testing and continuous monitoring in cloud environments.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
