What You’ll Get to Do
CACI is seeking a Lead Cloud Engineer for an exciting opportunity to support the US Air Force's Cloud One Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration contract. This position will require you to lead cloud engineering efforts, focusing on modernizing and migrating applications to cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP in FedRAMP and FedRAMP+ environments.
More About the Role
· Lead the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure and services across multiple cloud platforms in FedRAMP and FedRAMP+ environments.
· Develop and implement cloud-native solutions using containers, microservices, and declarative APIs.
· Lead the implementation of CI/CD pipelines with a focus on achieving high automated test coverage.
· Architect and implement cloud automation, orchestration, and infrastructure as code solutions.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful application modernization and migration.
· Provide technical leadership in Agile/DevSecOps methodologies for application development and operations.
· Support cybersecurity risk assessments and implement application-level Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) measures.
· Assist in ATO compliance and RMF process implementation.
· Contribute to the development and maintenance of a unified management portal with self-service capabilities and dashboards.
· Support the implementation of Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) requirements as per federal guidelines.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
· 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering and architecture
· Expert-level knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI)
· Strong experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
· Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
· Experience with CI/CD tools and practices
· Strong programming skills in at least one language (e.g., Python, Go, Java)
· Familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps methodologies
· Experience with microservices architecture and API design
· Current DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
· DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE).
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
· Experience with multiple cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI)
· Familiarity with FedRAMP and FedRAMP+ environments
· Experience with US Air Force or DoD cloud migration projects
· Knowledge of DoD Cloud Computing SRG, DoDI 8500.01, and 8510.01 security standards
· Experience with Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) in cloud environments
· Familiarity with Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) handling requirements
· Advanced cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
· Experience with cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices
· Familiarity with AI/ML integration in cloud environments

The proposed salary range for this position is:
