Your Mission

 

As a Software Systems Engineer NDR, your mission is to improve our NDR solution which is a crucial part of Open Systems' SASE portfolio. You will be part of the whole product lifecycle: from the concept phase all the way through to deployment and operations.

 

Working as part of an innovative engineering team, you will be building services that improve the security posture of our customers' networks in the following areas:

 

• IDS and IPS
• Network anomaly detection
• Network behavioral analysis
• Automated response to threats

 

Your Qualifications

 

For this position, we are looking for people who are passionate about networks, automation, and complex problem-solving.

 

What we would like to see from you:

 

• Higher education (University or FH) with a degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 3+ years of work experience in a related field
• Experience with networking technologies and protocols (e.g. dynamic routing, firewalling, TCP/IP)
• Experience with the integration of IDS/IPS
• Experience with Linux or UNIX-based operating systems
• Experience in software engineering with scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Perl, Python) and a compiled language (e.g. Go, C#, C++)
• Fluency in English

• Network security concepts/practices and technologies/protocols
• NDR solutions (e.g. Snort, Zeek, Suricata)
• Networking (e.g. dynamic routing, firewalling, TCP/IP)
• Software and System testing practices
