This role will work with Global Security Leadership to assess scenarios for threats impacting confidential projects that may result in  leaks, losses, or theft and provide recommendations for mitigation. Scenarios range in variety from engaging with new third parties, to user experience research, to new product launch events.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the successful completion of assessments on assigned projects within the allotted time of two to five business days.
  • Use desktop research skills to comprehend and assess highly technical research and development projects in order to advise on and mitigate confidentiality and security concerns. Be the subject matter expert for the business activities assigned.
  • Attend meetings with cross-functional stakeholders as assigned by management and represent yourself as a responsible steward for Global Security. Document key points and deliverables for review with management.
  • Work with management and cross-functional subject matter experts in information security, law, privacy, and more to compile information and provide recommendations.
  • Oversee the compilation of reports around possible security gaps and mitigation opportunities. Transfer key findings into presentation decks.
  • Periodically present key findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Support process optimization by overseeing the publishing of Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and Best Practices for internal and external stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

  • Bachelor’s degree required and at least 3 years of professional experience.
  • An interest and passion for self-learning. Could be but not necessarily expressed via an advanced degree in a subject such as business management, history, or the sciences.
  • Experience in or interest in learning about applied customer success management, relationship building, and similar skills in a nontraditional environment.
  • Strong business writing ability.
  • Ability to work independently to concrete results with little direction.
  • Ability to work collaboratively,  diplomatically and being a positive business influencer as part of a distributed team and with stakeholders often with strongly different points of view. This is a must.
