Engineer - Software and Cyber Security

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Skills/experience:

• Good understanding of embedded software, and SW development using C language.

• Develop, configure, integrate and test AUTOSAR BSW & software cybersecurity stack as required

• Work closely with hardware and software vendors to ensure that technical solutions are meeting stakeholder requirements; plan and present mitigation activities as required

• In collaboration with global Mahindra cybersecurity team, lead cybersecurity process, methods and tools development within EV business unit as required

• Work closely with the electronics and hardware departments to ensure design of electronics and hardware can support the software requirements

• Expertise in Production and field support tools and process.

• Knowledge of building continuous integration pipelines

• Good understanding of build systems

• Good understanding of debug techniques

• Good understanding of configuration management

• Designing and optimizing deployment scripts and processes

• Excellent communication skills

• Proven success in taking ownership of CI systems for embedded products that require extensive hardware testing infrastructure

Key Responsibilities:

• SW Development using C Language.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to gather and understand the requirements

• Perform requirements capture.

• Participate in setting standards for various stages in project lifecycle.

• Highlight risks and gaps early in the project life-cycle to identify the correct path forward.

• Evaluate new tools and technology to ensure an automated and stable environment

• Doing Impact analysis (arch, tech teams, baseline), providing inputs to leads, propose Branching strategy & interim milestones.

• Task definition and work breakdown including time estimation.

• Ability to work with minimal requirements and manage multiple tasks.

• Collaborate closely with Software and Test Teams.

• Excellent understanding of CI systems.

• Maintain the current CI system including defect investigation.

• Play a role in continuous development of the departments processes.

Experience

• 3 to 5 years of experience in embedded software development • 3+ years of experience in AUTOSAR based software development • Good Exposure in BSW and Integration testing.

Industry Preferred

Qualifications

B.E/B. Tech or ME/M. Tech in Electronics, or Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
