Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Our Information Security team is responsible for the overall protection of our organization and its data being collected and used, as well as enabling safe operation of applications implemented on various IT systems. During this internship, you will be involved in the implementation of new security solutions, participation in the creation and/or maintenance of policies, standards, baselines, guidelines, and procedures as well as conducting vulnerability audits and assessments. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and passionate about pursuing a career in a Security related field.

• Review/manage alerts.
• Work alongside Senior Engineers in monitoring for potential threats and assisting with responding where reasonable.
• Interact with Information Security tools.

Required Education and Experience

• In pursuit of a bachelor's degree or graduate-level degree in a relevant business area. 
• 3.0 GPA or higher. 
• Junior, Senior and graduate-level students. 

Preferred Education and Experience

• Experience with Adobe Suite. 
• Foundational skills with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. 
• Background education in one of the following: UX Design, Web Design, UI Design, Digital Marketing, or Frontend Web Development. 
• Previous internship experience is nice to have, but not necessarily required. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Collaborative team player with a positive attitude. 
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, highly collaborative and cross-functional team setting. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication. 
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite - PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel.
